Diabetes Education and Prevention in Youth

Diabetes Education and Prevention in Youth is the theme for a community service program and play, “The Evil Diana Betes vs. Sir Insulin Monk,” containing information and games that bring awareness to young children about the risks of diabetes.

The presentations are aimed at elementary and middle school aged children. Educational materials were published in English, Spanish and Tohono O’odham languages.
