Nurses on Compact State License

The Arizona State Board of Nursing requires nurses practicing with a compact state license to apply for an Arizona state license if they decide to be a resident of Arizona.

Registered nurses have 30 days to apply for Arizona license after they become an Arizona resident. This is based on:

  • Changing Drivers License
  • Income Tax Address
  • Voter Registration
